Student Showcase Guidelines

  1. All students enrolled in Applied Lessons are eligible to apply for a Student Showcase performance with their applied instructor’s permission. (Talk to your teacher before )
  2. Applications to perform will be accepted only for the next immediate Showcase on the schedule. You may apply as soon as the previous showcase has ended.
  3. All performers must turn in a complete application no later than 5pm on the Friday 10 days before the Showcase on which they want to perform.
  4. ALL information must be complete for full consideration, including relevant catalog information and accurate timings.
  5. The application can be found above.
  6. Programming is on a first applied, first scheduled basis until the time limit of 90 minutes per Showcase is reached.
  7. Due to the small number of Showcases and the large number of applications, students who have yet to perform will have to take precedence over those who have already performed in a particular semester.
  8. The time limit for any particular performance will be 10 Pieces or movements longer than 10 minutes may be discussed with the student’s teacher and then must be approved by the Showcase Coordinator.
  9. Please check the timing of your OWN performance (not a recording or video). Don’t underestimate the length of performance time.

Contact the Showcase Coordinator, Dr. Scott Sandberg, with any questions.
