Chamber Groups

UND Saxophone Quartet

The UND Saxophone Quartet is the premiere saxophone chamber ensemble at UND, featuring soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones playing high-level and diverse repertoire. This group has been selected for and performed at the International Saxophone Symposium hosted by the U.S. Navy Band, the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference, and numerous local events. Acceptance into the ensemble is by audition only.

UND Clarinet Choir

The UND Clarinet Choir is an ensemble comprised of music majors and non-majors. The instrumentation of this group most often includes E-flat, B-flat, alto, bass, and contrabass clarinets. The group rehearses for one hour each week with Dr. Sandberg, conductor, and performs at UND Music and community events.

Saxophone Quartets

Saxophone Quartets are open to music majors and non-majors. The instrumentation of the group may vary (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone or alto, alto, tenor, baritone) based on repertoire and student interest. Each quartet will meet for two hours each week, one of which is a coaching with Dr. Sandberg. The ensembles will perform at least once a semester.

If you are interested in performing in a single reed chamber group, please contact Dr. Sandberg.
