Speech AI Data Annotation Specialist
Speech AI Data Annotation SpecialistAbout otooto is building high quality conversational speech datasets for next generation speech AI and speech to speech models. Our work focuses on natural two person conversations, including turn taking, backchannels, interruptions, fillers, pauses, and other real conversational behaviors that are important for human like voice AI.We are looking for detail oriented annotators to help us prepare conversational audio data for speech AI research and model training.About the roleThis is a remote, paid contract role focused on high quality speech data annotation. You will work with short conversational audio assets in our custom annotation platform. Each asset is approximately 15 minutes long.Your main task is to review pre labeled audio and correct the transcript, speech segments, and conversational labels based on detailed guidelines.This is not a general writing job. It requires careful listening, attention to detail, and the ability to follow annotation instructions precisely.ResponsibilitiesYou may work on tasks such as:Correcting AI generated transcriptsAdjusting speech segment start and end timesChecking whether each speech segment matches the actual audioLabeling or reviewing conversational events such as backchannels, interruptions, fillers, restarts, pauses, and turn takingFixing missing words, incorrect words, repetitions, and false startsFollowing detailed annotation guidelinesReporting unclear cases or platform issuesMaintaining high accuracy while working efficientlyExpected paceAfter onboarding, we expect strong annotators to complete one 15 minute audio asset in about 1 hour while maintaining high annotation quality.Rates may go up to $50 per hour for annotators who consistently meet the required speed and quality level.CompensationPay range: $25 to $50 per hour, depending on experience, speed, and annotation quality.We will start with a short paid annotation trial. Speech Language Pathologist
The Speech Language Pathologist organizes and conducts speech/language programs for ORTS to facilitate rehabilitation. They direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Also, the Pathologist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or correct pathology. The Manheim Central School District has an opening for a full-time Speech/Language Pathologist Long-Term Substitute. Part-Time Speech Pathologist
 Title: Part-Time Speech Language PathologistReports To: Education Services DirectorClassification: Part-Time Hourly – non-exemptThis is a part-time position working 4-6 hours a week (approximately 20 hours a month) providing speech therapy services for Stepping Stones Alternative Education Program for middle and high school students with moderate to significant developmental disabilities. This year-round alternative placement program serves students from school districts across Greater Cincinnati that are unable to be successfully served by their home district. The work schedule will occur during program hours – Monday-Friday, 8:30am-2:30pm – and will be determined between the SLP and Education Director. In addition, the SLP is responsible for providing ongoing feedback and support to the classroom staff and Education Services Director on how to promote communication skill-building and speech goal progress for students outside of the structured therapy service delivery.The ideal candidate is someone with experience working with students who have significant communication and speech support needs and has a strong familiarity with alternative communication systems. The candidate should also be comfortable working in a classroom setting with students with behavioral support needs, possess strong communication and instructional skills, and a willingness to coach support staff in implementing best practices. DefinitionTo assist a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech therapy assessment services to identified students in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals; provides services to students with specialized needs; and performs a variety of duties in support of student case management services; and to perform a variety of duties related to assigned area of responsibility.
