Theatre Degree Programs
The B.F.A. in Musical Theatre requires an audition and provides a defined curriculum. This program includes a voice lesson component, with students focusing on singing, dancing, and acting. Students wishing to pursue on stage performance generally select the B.F.A. program.
The B.A. in Theatre does not require an audition component and allows the student to choose a curriculum track from Acting, Design and Tech, or Generalist. B.A. students are not required to audition for every production throughout the year.
We also offer a Theatre Arts minor and a Dance minor. Our dance minor offers classes in Dance Fundamentals, Tap, Musical Theatre Styles, and Special Topics, as well as the opportunity to engage in a Choreography Practicum experience geared toward the individual student's area of interest.
