Fall Auditions
UND Theatre is excited to kick off the Fall 2026 semester and will be hosting auditions at Burtness Theatre for two upcoming shows.
“The Addams Family”
By Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa
Directed by Emily Cherry Oliver, Music Direction by Justin Montigne, Choreography by Emily Wirkus
“Barefoot in the Park”
by Neil Simon, Directed by Chelsea Chimilar
Audition Dates & Requirements
- Students should prepare a 90 second package with a song and a monologue in the style of the show. No monologue? No problem! We will have additional materials available at the door for you if needed.
- Sign up for your audition slot at the button below.
- Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Burtness Theatre
- Addams Family callbacks will be Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Starcher Hall.
- Barefoot in the Park callbacks will be Friday, August 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Burtness Theatre.

Rehearsals
- Rehearsals for "The Addams Family" begin August 31.
- Rehearsals for "Barefoot in the Park" begin October 12.
All general rehearsals will take place from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on campus at Starcher or Burtness Theatre; tech rehearsals will take place the full week before opening night and will include some weekend rehearsal time.

- October 8th-18th 2026: The Addams Family
- November 11-15th 2026: Barefoot in the Park
