Fall Auditions

UND Theatre is excited to kick off the Fall 2025 semester and will be hosting auditions at Burtness Theatre for three upcoming shows.

“The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged”

By Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, Directed by James Tweedale

“My Fair Lady”

Book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, directed by Emily Wirkus

"A Cozy Christmas Cabaret"

An assortment of holiday songs, scenes and readings. 

Audition Dates & Requirements

  • Students should prepare a one minute monologue and a one minute cutting of a musical selection of their choice. No monologue/song? No problem! We will have additional materials available at the door for you if needed.
  • Sign up for you audition slot at the button below
  • Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 6 p.m., with callbacks on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
  • All auditions and callbacks will be held on campus at UND Burtness Theatre.

Rehearsals

  • Rehearsals for "Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged" begin September 2nd.
  • Rehearsals for "My Fair Lady" begin September 29th.
  • Rehearsals for "A Cozy Christmas Cabaret" begin December 1st. 

All general rehearsals will take place from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on campus at Burtness Theatre; tech rehearsals will take place the full week before opening night and will include some weekend rehearsal time.

Performances

  • October 1-5. 2025: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged
  • November 7-16, 2025: My Fair Lady
  • December 6-7, 225: A Cozy Christmas Cabaret
