High School Band Day
High School Band Day is back on November 16, 2019!
This fall we will once again be hosting the Pride of the North Band Day at the University of North Dakota. We are very excited that we can provide this opportunity to you and your students. We have made some exciting additions to the day that will be sure to provide all who attend with a fun-filled experience. This fall’s event is on November 16, with a game time of 1 p.m.
We again plan to have over 500 students playing on the field at halftime at the same time! There is no marching experience required. The one change that we have to make to bring this event back is that there will be a small participation fee of $5 for each student. This will cover music, a t-shirt, lunch, and a ticket for the game. There will also be lots of UND freebies for your students and chaperons, and we are partnering with other UND departments for a set of show-and-tell tables during lunch for students to be able to explore other disciplines.
One of the great things about Pride Band Day is that you don’t have to have your entire band to participate. Any/all of your students will be welcome. We will be broken up into sections on the field to help facilitate the varying levels of performance ability. Below is the tentative schedule for the day.
Band Day Schedule:
9:00 A.M. – Enter Door 3 of the Alerus Center (NW Corner) – Bus Drop off
