The CALL

The Cafe for Active Language Learning

The CALL is an experimental classroom, located in the recently renovated Merrifield Hall designed to provide an immersive language and cultural learning environment. You can practice French, Spanish, German, or Norwegian in a cafe environment where learning goes far beyond grammar and vocabulary. Along with essential speaking practice, the CALL provides opportunities to learn about global cultures and foods.

Beyond the Classroom

When classes aren't in session, The CALL serves as an event space for student club meetings, lectures, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds.
