Global Studies
Why pursue Global Studies?
Global Studies is a versatile program, offering an interdisciplinary education that adds value to a wide range of career tracks, helping to propel students to success in the fields of Aviation, Business, Political Science, and Education, just to name a few. The Global Studies Program is as diverse as our student body’s career goals, and its tracks and concentrations support students’ success in a globalized world that requires an interculturally competent workforce. In addition to receiving a solid foundation in political perspectives and global awareness, students choose an area of concentration, including, but not limited to: Language & Culture, Political Thought, Human Rights, Indigenous Cultures, Gender Studies, and Culture, Health & Wellness.
The Intercultural Link
Sharing our love for language and culture is what we at the UND Global Studies and languages programs do every day. To share our passion with our current and prospective students, we created The Intercultural Link. The Intercultural Link (TIL) is an interactive learning platform, highlighting Global Studies and Languages students as they share their intercultural explorations and success stories. Regular posts will share career opportunities, study abroad experiences, and intriguing cultural knowledge pieces.
