Cynthia Prescott and co-editor Maureen Thompson brought together heritage recipes, the recipes' backstories, and scholarship on cookbooks and rural foodways into what might be the world's first "academic cookbook." It is available as a free E-book from UND's own Digital Press. Prescott contributed several pieces to the volume, including an essay comparing two local food writers: "Olive Garden Lady" Marilyn Hagerty and Food Network star Molly Yeh.
