2023 Strategic Plan

Thank you for participating in charting the course the College will take over the next five years.

We encourage students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to visit often to find updates and contribute feedback during this important process.  Here we will post source documents, minutes from committee meetings, information about upcoming listening sessions, surveys to assist in providing comments and pose questions, and eventually, drafts of the strategic plan for your review.

A&S Strategic Plan Timeline

Initiated by Dean Rundquist in May 2022, the planning process began over the summer and the committee formed and met initially in September 2022. The committee members, representing a variety of constituencies, will meet regularly, hold listening sessions with stakeholders, and share their progress here (and via email) to ensure that the strategic planning process remains open, inclusive, and collaborative.

  • May 2022: Planning Process initiated
  • Fall 2022: Committee formed, information gathering
  • Spring 2023: Plan drafted

Feedback

With your help, over the course of the 2022-2023 academic year, we will gather input (fall semester) and draft a plan (spring semester) that celebrates, champions, and advances the breadth and depth of expertise that defines the College of Arts & Sciences. Thank you in advance for your input and ideas.
