Floodwall Vol. 1
The brainchild of former UND English graduate student, Geoff Peck, the first version of Floodwall was an international literary magazine run entirely by graduate students in the English
Department. They published works by writers from all over the United States and around
the world, and there were five issues, running from 2012-2014. Those issues have been
archived here, so that they remain accessible. While we no longer accept submissions
from writers beyond the UND campus, these pieces are outstanding and many of the writers
have since had books and collections published. There are even interviews with the
likes of George Saunders and Adam Johnson.
