Christopher Soto

to the towns left without saying goodbye

there are boxes in the garage that contain
too much weight for one to carry on
a long journey. rummage through
their materials, some items will be familiar,
some will not. please be patient when passing
the unknown. many stories have been shared
between us but, even in these boxes, their
is still much unsaid; about how i wanted
to give you everything and take nothing.

About Christopher Soto

Christopher Soto is a queer Latino poet from Southern California. He published his first chapbook How to Eat Glass with Still Life Press in 2012. He is currently an MFA candidate in Poetry at NYU.
