Welcome to University of North Dakota Chemistry Department
The Department is housed in Abbott Hall (see picture on the left), a 77,000 square foot building built in 1961. It is named after Dr. George Abbott, first professional chemist at the University of North Dakota, who served as first chairman of the Department of Chemistry from 1910 to 1947.
