My Generation April 17--21, 2012, 7:30 PM

BYOT!!! Bring Your Own Technology! The Department of Theatre Arts announces its upcoming spring pop concert My Generation at Burtness Theatre on the UND Campus. My Generation will be a unique theatre experience for the audience. Everyone will be invited to leave their cell phones on and engage with the actors during the performance. This fun event will feature music from Lady Gaga, LMFAO, FUN, Gavin DeGraw, Adele and much more. We will be live Tweeting and Facebooking during the show so bring your smart phone, tablet or laptop to become a part of the SOCAIL MEDIA Event.

Everyo ne is invited to Like the UNDMyGen Facebook page and become a part of the production as it is being created. The script is being written in rehearsal and your contributions on Facebook may become a part o f the show!

Performances are April 17-21 at 7:30 pm in the Burtness Theatre. Tickets are Adults $20.00 and students $10.00. Please call the Box Office to reserve tickets at 701-777-2587.

The Department achieved National Accreditation in 1986, an honor it continues to hold. The diversified and highly qualified faculty includes experts skilled in acting, directing, design, playwriting, history and literature.

UND offers exciting opportunities in theatre for majors and non-majors with its extensive theatre and dance curriculum, essential studies courses, and production experience.

Our nationally recognized Master of Arts program graduates are working in New York, Chicago, and Minneapolis. Majors may select a focus in Acting, Directing, Design, or Music Theatre.

The new Dance curriculum is open to all students with classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern Dance. Dance Minors take advanced technique classes and choreography.

All students are encouraged to participate in our season productions as well as our student directed one-acts.
