Pre-Health Programs
UND's Pre-Health Programs are designed to prepare students for successful application to health professional schools.
Information Sessions
UND's pre-health program includes informational sessions to ensure students are focused on the necessary topics at the appropriate time. There are meetings specific to first-year students designed to orient new students to the expectations of the pre-health program, what professional schools look for in an applicant, and class registration/advisement. In addition, we offer informational sessions on all facets of health professional school admissions, including:

UND has several resources to help students explore the careers they are interested in. These resources can help you learn how to search for careers and discover the skills and courses required to pursue them. It is also highly recommended for you to shadow different careers and specialties to help learn about which careers are the best fit for you!
Health professional schools look for well-rounded applicants who demonstrate academic excellence, a passion for the career, commitment to service, and experience in a healthcare setting.
Not all health professional schools accept AP, IB, or CLEP credit for their pre-requisites. We urge all pre-health students to be proactive in planning their education and encourage you to investigate the pre-requisites for any schools you wish to attend.
