Work Papers of the Summer Institute of Linguistics, University of North Dakota Session
The Work Papers of the Summer Institute of Linguistics, University of North Dakota Session is a series of working papers in linguistics and related fields, published regularly since 1957, by staff and students affiliated with the Summer Institute of Linguistics and the linguistics program at the University of North Dakota. (The name "SIL-UND Work Papers" is an informal designation.)
The series began to be published electronically in 1997 (volume 41), and appeared at this location. Now, however, all articles (both paper and electronic) are available in UND's Scholarly Commons. Those prior to 1997 are scanned (non-searchable) PDFs, while those from 1997 onward are the searchable PDFs that originally appeared.
To find a particular article, the easiest way is to do a web search in the form "SIL-UND Work Papers <author>/<topic>/<language>"; this should bring you straight to appropriate listings in the Scholarly Commons.
Permission is hereby granted to make copies of any article or volume in the series for nonprofit use, as long as they are not modified and full publication information is retained in each copy.
Send questions or comments by email to the SIL-UND director.
