Where the Sidewalk Ends: Exploring the Neutron Dripline with MoNA-LISA
New facilities have made it possible to explore neutron-rich nuclei at the edge of stability (lifetime ~ 10^-20 s). New and surprising physics such as halo nuclei, changes in shell model closures and di-neutron decay have been discovered at the extreme limits of nuclear stability. An overview of the recent results in the physics of neutron-rich nuclei from the MoNA-LISA facility at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Lab will be presented.
