Chamber Ensembles - MUSC 277
The North Country Horns
An ensemble consisting of the members of the studio as well as players from the community. The group rehearses weekly and performs throughout the year in both formal recitals and outreach concerts in nursing homes and schools. In addition to the large horn choir setting, the group also breaks down into smaller quartets and trios.

The North Dakota Trombone Choir
Is a university/community ensemble that is comprised of a wide range of musicians. In addition to performing regularly on the UND Campus, their performances include: sacred concerts at local churches, the North Dakota Music Educator's National Professional Conference, featured performance with the UND Wind Ensemble, and at the Winter WUNDerland holiday concert.

Performs many new pieces each year, as well as some of the standards in the repertoire. In 2011 the Ensemble performed at the NDMEA Convention in Bismarck, as a featured attraction.
Steel Pan Ensemble
Performs traditional Calypso music, as well as Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and music from the pop culture. It is a very popular group, billed as a main attraction at the Chester Fritz Auditorium. Discover Steel Pan!
The newly formed UND cello ensemble was started in the fall of 2011 at the initiative of the UND cello students. The UND Cello Ensemble is comprised of young artists coming from Minot, Fargo and as well as from Venezuela currently studying under the direction of Dr. Simona Barbu at UND.
The UND cello ensemble is accepting non-UND cellists to participate.
