Math Log Photos
Thank you for visiting the photograph section of the Math Log newsletter Web site! Here you will find some scenes from around the UND campus. Each photo is followed by a brief description. We make no claims as to the professional quality of these photos. Afterall, they were all taken by an amateur photographer here in the Mathematics Department! But in any case, we do hope you enjoy them! If there are any other types of pictures that you would like to see here, please let us know. Just send a message to Larry Peterson, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a view of the main quadrangle area on the UND campus in the summer of 2005. The photo was taken from a spot just south of the Chester Fritz Library building. You can see Twamley Hall through the trees in the background.
This is the Law Building. You can see the Memorial Union in the background on the far right.
Merrifield Hall was the home of the Mathematics Department up until 1967.
Here is our new clock! It is located in the main quadrangle area in front of Twamley Hall. Question of the day: "When was this photograph taken?"
Well, it's time for class once again! Here is our new carpeted classroom on the second floor of Witmer Hall. Note the quality slate blackboard!
