Drs. Melissa Gjellstad and Tami Carmichael (Humanities & Integrated Studies) were awarded a grant in November 2009 from the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU). This SIU grant, totaling nearly 10,000 USD was awarded for the team to host two "Norway Seminar" days in 2010. These seminars will be a one-day workshop for UND undergraduates to learn more about how to incorporate a Norwegian perspective – through language, culture, research, and study abroad – into their education at and beyond UND.
