Upcoming Semester Information

Fall 2012

In fall 2012, the Integrated Studies Program will have two options available.  See details on the options below.

Option 1 - ISP Classic (13 credits) - will include the following courses:

HUM 101: Intro to Humanities I
     (4 credits, Arts & Humanities Essential Studies category, humanities area)
HUM 224: Integrated Social Science
     (3 credits, Social Sciences Essential Studies category, US diversity overlay)
HUM 271: Integrated General Science
     (3 credits, Math/Science/Technology Essential Studies category, non-lab science)
COMM 110: Public Speaking
     (3 credits, Communications Essential Studies category, oral communication)

The theme for this option will be "Feared and Forbidden."  Classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 - 11:50 and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - noon AND 2 - 4.

Option 2  - ISP Lite (9 credits) - will include the following courses:

HUM 101: Intro to Humanities I
     (4 credits, Arts & Humanities Essential Studies category, humanities area)
HUM 271: Integrated General Science
     (3 credits, Math/Science/Technology Essential Studies category, non-lab science)
ENGL 120: Composition II
     (3 credits, Communications Essential Studies category, written communication)

The theme for this option will be "Faith, Doubt, and Belief."  Classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 - 2:50 and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 3.
