August 7: UND Geography Phenocam
The UND Geography Phenocam has been installed at Oakville Prairie. The camera is now collecting data that will soon contribute to the National Phenocam Network, run by Harvard University and the University of New Hampshire. The project is headed by Dr. Rundquist with several students (Lawrence Burkett, Earl Klug, and Mitch Braget) who helped with assembly and installation. The winner of the Spring 2014 winner of the B.L. Wills Scholarship is Mitch Braget. There were also four winners of the Virginia George Inheritance Fund book award: Austin Braget, Karl Bauer, Hannah Bahnmiller, and Stephanie Schaub.
