What can the Communication Program offer you?
The Department of Communication is a comprehensive, integrated curriculum in communication that focuses on how information processes and communication technologies affect and can benefit a diversity of local and global communities. It prepares undergraduate students for careers as ethical communicators with a broad understanding of contemporary communication issues and with skills that are adaptable to a variety of contexts. One major, Communication, is offered leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree. A minor in Communication is also offered.
How do you apply?
The path for students planning to pursue a major through the communication program:
Step one: Become Communication major. Start by declaring as a communication major with the academic advisor.

Step two: Complete the communication requirements
- Students are eligible for Communication scholarships.
- Meet with your advisor on a regular basis.
Step three: It is important to meet again with your academic advisor the term BEFORE you plan to graduate for a graduation audit to make sure you have met all requirements.
Step four: Apply for graduation your final term
