Courses from other universities may be substituted for the following courses if they are equivalent. If the student does not have room for all the courses during the post-baccalaureate year, some courses may be taken after admission to graduate school.

ASHA requires coursework in several other areas. The courses listed are examples available at UND. Other courses in these areas, from UND or other schools, are acceptable.
A biological science: Biol 111, or equivalent.
A physical science: Phys 110, 130, 140, Geography 121, Geology 101, or equivalent
A course with multi-cultural content: CSD 425, T&L 433, or equivalent.
If the student wishes to work in a school in the U.S., several education courses are necessary. These can be taken during the master’s program, however.
