B.S., 1995, Natural Resources, University of Vermont
M.S., 2001, Wildlife Science, South Dakota State University
Ph.D., 2007, Wildlife Science, Cornell University
The Boulanger Lab combines aspects of wildlife ecology, human dimensions, and geospatial environmental information systems to answer applied questions that help inform wildlife management and policy decisions. Selected concepts for wildlife studies include spatial and temporal use of landscape features, population dynamics, habitat selection, and behavior. We are also interested in developing novel techniques to mitigate wildlife disease and other human-wildlife conflicts. Jay is the co-advisor of the UND Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
